Actors Vikrant Massey and Sanya Malhotra on Tuesday started filming their upcoming crime-thriller ‘Love Hostel’. The movie is written and directed by Shanker Raman, who helmed the acclaimed 2017 Pankaj Tripathi starrer ‘Gurgaon’. It additionally stars Bobby Deol.

Massey, 33, took to Instagram and shared an image of the copies of his and Malhotra’s script of the movie.

“And we start,” the ‘Chhapaak’ actor wrote.

‘Love Hostel’ is produced by Gauri Khan, Gaurav Verma of Purple Chillies Leisure together with Manish Mundra of Drishyam Movies.

The movie is ready in opposition to the backdrop of rustic north India and traces the unstable journey of a younger couple being hunted by a ruthless mercenary.

Earlier this month, the movie’s shoot was disrupted in Punjab’s Patiala district by a bunch of farmers protesting in opposition to the three agri legal guidelines.

Round 150-200 farmers gathered and halted the shoot, saying none from Deol’s household spoke in favour of the protesting farmers.

In keeping with police officers, Deol was not current throughout the time of the incident.
